Reduction of aircraft maintenance time and financial savings for customers are the main benefits of the strategic partnership between JOB AIR Technic and ABC International. This Italian company specializes in the modification of commercial aircraft interiors. They occur, for example, when the operator changes, which is an activity that JOB AIR Technic has specialized in for a long time. Thanks to the established cooperation, both companies can make their activities more efficient.
JOB AIR Technic, for example, has its own upholstery workshop, but handles complex interior modifications through suppliers such as ABC International. This Italian company has authorization from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency for interior modifications, which are determined by the EASA Part 21J standard. Its services include, for example, the replacement of carpets, curtains, seat covers, partitions, movable partitions between flight classes and the like.
“Interior modifications are usually considered the last step of an aircraft conversion or heavy maintenance project. For this reason, they are often the main cause of work delays. In most cases, repair shops are required to leave the machine in place in the hangar, wait for the interior material to arrive, and only then complete the work. A closed partnership can significantly shorten this time,” explains Vladimír Stulančák, CEO of JOB AIR Technic.
The main advantage for JOB AIR Technic customers is the combination of services, namely aircraft maintenance according to EASA Part 145, which is provided by JOB AIR Technic, and interior modifications according to EASA Part 21J, which is already supplied by ABC International. The concluded agreement will, for example, enable the customer of aircraft repair shops to choose a new interior of the aircraft already at the time of negotiations on the maintenance of the aircraft and thereby significantly shorten the time for which it is waiting for its delivery.
“Having the entire process under control allows our company to plan all activities in a timely manner and efficiently allocate manpower to individual projects. Thanks to this, we will be able to better adhere to the repair schedule and stay within the agreed times, which will be reflected in improved conditions and financial savings for the customer. A direct channel with ABC International for both approval and production of interior sets reduces standby times and possible delays in implementation,” adds Vladimír Stulančák.

The JOB AIR Technic aircraft repair shop located at the Leoš Janáček Airport in Mošnov was founded in 1993. In 2008, it built a new maintenance hangar and received a license to maintain Boeing 737 aircraft, and three years later, a license for Airbus A320 aircraft.
